Braemar Lodge & Spa offers a range of suite options to suit each guest and every occasion.

Warm tones, accented by rich textiles, make these spaces unique and special, while dark woods create open and inviting spaces. Ranging from 60-65 square meters, Braemar offers some of the largest suites available in New Zealand, each featuring spectacular views over the Amuri Basin to the mountains beyond.

Each suite boasts it’s own individual flair. Stunning oil paintings compliment floor-to-ceiling windows providing breath-taking views across the Hanmer valley to the mountains beyond. Modern conveniences and signature amenities make every suite a comforting place to relax and unwind.

All suites include; an open-plan sleeping and living area with super-king size beds, pristine luxurious marble bathroom featuring double spa baths and showers, TV, gas fire, private balcony (many with a hot tub) and free Wi-Fi.

Suite rate Information

Please note, each suite has four different rates, dependent on guest requirements when booking. All suite rates include daily housekeeping (excluding Sundays & public holidays). *Sundays & Public Holidays incur a 15% surcharge

1. Saver rate – these are the cheapest rates available, are non refundable and require payment at the time of booking.

2. Flexible rate -  these have a 48 hour cancellation policy and payment is required 48 hours prior to arrival.

3. Suite plus breakfast  - a package deal which includes the required suite as well as breakfast.

4. Suite plus breakfast and dinner – a package deal which includes the required suite, breakfast and a three course dinner.

Superior Suites

With spectacular views and sized approximately 60 sqm, Superior Suites are a great place to spend a night, or more.

Maximum occupancy per suite is 3 people (including children). Some Superior Suites are interconnecting.

Cots and rollaways are available however numbers are limited. Cots are complimentary, rollaway beds are an additional $50 per night for ages 3-16 or an additional $70 per night per adult. 

Superior suites include the Mt Balfour, Bel Air, Hurunui, Braemar, Appleby and Conical Hill suites.

Superior Spa Suite

For those looking for the luxury of their own private balcony spa pool, our superior spa suites also offer spectacular views and are sized approximately 60 sqm. Superior Spa Suites are a great place to spend a night or more, while relaxing in your private spa pool/Jacuzzi.

Maximum occupancy per suite is 3 people (including children). Some Superior Spa Suites are interconnecting.

Cots and rollaways are available however numbers are limited. Cots are complimentary, rollaway beds are an additional $50 per night for ages 3-16 or an additional $70 per night per adult. 

Superior spa suites include the Rotherham, Hanmer, Bell bird, Molesworth, St James, Mt Isobel, Tui, Takaka and Mt Lyford suites.

Deluxe Spa Suite

Deluxe Spa Suites are the ultimate in self indulgent pampering. Featuring a private spa/jacuzzi pool, spectacular views over the Amuri Basin and sized approximately 65 sqm, they are the largest suites available at Braemar and feature extra privacy.

Maximum occupancy per suite is 3 people (including children). Some Deluxe Spa Suites are interconnecting.

Cots and rollaways are available however numbers are limited. Cots are complimentary, rollaway beds are an additional $50 per night for ages 3-16 or an additional $70 per night per adult. 

Deluxe spa suites include the Waiau, Miromiro, Kereru, Amuri, Mangaweka, Medway, Cass, Galleria and the Beaumont suites.

Accessible Spa Suite

For those wanting an accessible suite, or simply the added convenience that comes with the layout, this is an ideal private luxury suite with spectacular views over and sized approximately 60 sqm. Accessible Suites are a great place to spend a night or more, while relaxing in your private spa pool.

Accessible Spa Suites feature a range of amenities to make mobility easier for guests with disabilities. The bathroom contains grab rails, roll in shower and shower seating. Please note that the spa pool does not feature hoists but lodge staff are able to provide assistance on demand.
